The heart of mission is to alleviate the suffering of the disadvantaged in Cuba through the love of Christ. We partner with organizations and individuals to distribute humanitarian aid and support programs that encourage long-term development and strengthen coping mechanisms.

1. Solidarity2Serve — Providing Relief And Support

provides meals, clothing, and hygienic necessities throughout the impoverished areas of Cuba, concentrating mostly in eastern Cuba. Solidarity2Serve supports ministries dedicated to serving the population that is unable to provide for themselves, those such as the elderly, malnourished children and expecting mothers. Solidarity2Serve contains ministries dedicated to serving the forgotten population. Unfortunately, the elderly are a forgotten community, often in the most need and unable to provide for themselves.

We work with over 100 training and operational community kitchens that distribute breakfast, lunch, and dinner so that food is always readily available. Solidarity2Serve strives to help those who live in despairing conditions, whether it is by delivering a meal, holding baby showers for expecting mothers or washing linens for the elderly.

2. Missions Travel — Linking Travelers With Those In Need

This program provides missionaries the opportunity to have the Cuban experience while they provide humanitarian aid. These travelers volunteer as aid couriers bringing medicine, baby formula, prenatal vitamins, and simple necessities to the disadvantaged ministries of the independent Evangelical Christian Church of Cuba. The goal is to link travelers with churches and organizations throughout Cuba who are working toward positive change.

provides the structure and legal documents for humanitarian mission trips to Cuba for the purpose of encouraging and assisting the independent Christian Church. Each traveler partners with us in this endeavor by delivering humanitarian aid such as medicines and vitamins to Churches on the island. Travelers learn firsthand about the culture, social situation, and life in Cuba. They have the opportunity to visit various Christian ministries, observe ongoing mission programs and interact with Christian leaders working with local churches, children in need, the elderly, and the handicapped.

second major focus area is community development through the implementation of programs that stress organizational capacity and foster human, cultural and social capital, which are essential aspects needed for a change inside the church and the community.

1. Equipping Leaders — Empowering The Church

This project is focused on empowering Church leaders at the forefront of their communities to better themselves and their cause. This goal is achieved by making them good stewards of their gifting. Their skills will be improved through a series of trainings aimed at building their spiritual, leadership, and organizational strengths, and giving them the opportunity to learn more about communication, ethics and teaching methodologies in a ministry setting. As a result the Cuban church and community as a whole will be edified.

2. Proyecto Pescadores — Supporting Small Enterprises

Proyecto Pescadores is our micro-enterprise initiative focusing on the mission of giving the Cuban church an opportunity to prosper financially by educating them on proven Christian-based business concepts and practices. Using basic financial training, seed money and resources for the creation and expansion of small businesses, the participating entrepreneurs take part in multiple types of innovative and available micro business programs. As a result, the project fosters a sense of stewardship, creates financial stability, and encourages spiritual and financial accountability amongst the participants.

As they succeed, the entrepreneur’s scope of impact grows beyond their family to their church communities, not only in terms of their financial contributions but in their ability to teach others to do the same.

3. The Solomon Project — Promoting Knowledge

The Solomon Project focuses on providing independent Cuban evangelical churches with the resources necessary to expand their knowledge and increase the flow of information to them. The overall goal of the Solomon Project is to give the people of Cuba access to resources that are difficult to obtain on the island. This project also provides laptops to our partner seminaries helping to strengthen their ecclesiastical and ministerial education programs thus equipping their students for greater impact in their ministries. The Project also seeks to support our partners on the island in the creation of small libraries within the church community to further the goal of increasing education, information dissemination and access. These Libraries include books and laptops that enable Cuban citizens’ access to independent sources of information.
